The BSAC, or British Sub-Aqua Club, is the world’s biggest diving club. It is one of the most respected diving organisations in the world with an enviable reputation as a centre of excellence for its diver training programmes.

Crawley BSAC was formed 50 years ago and is widely recognized as a high-class training Club. Possessing a wealth of experience - from Assistant to National Instructors - we can provide almost all the courses that the BSAC has to offer.

Being a long-standing BSAC branch, we have male and female members of all ages from 16 to 65. Members come from all walks of life - from doctors to plumbers - and encompass the full spectrum of diving ability, from the novice to the expert.

We organise weekend dives, including night dives, all over the country as well as frequent overseas trips as far away as Malta and The Red Sea. Socially active, we regularly have fun at a full range of social events.

We understand that there is a vast difference between the idea of diving and the reality. You, as a beginner, will be feeling many things - from intrigue and excitement to apprehension and fear.

Experience SCUBA, is a 3 hour Introduction to Diving course for the complete beginner. Anyone can take part over the age of 18 - or 14 with parental consent.

Encompassing both theory and practice, it gives you the opportunity to try scuba diving. With absolutely no commitment to further sessions, you can relax knowing you are not tied in to a full programme of training.

Of course, all equipment is provided for you - not just for your trial session but for the duration of your basic training programme, should you wish. You also benefit from our ownership of a 5.5 metre rigid inflatable boat!

Theory is taught at our Club Hut in Tilgate Park ,with initial practical training undertaken in the superb pool at K2, Crawley Council’s new state-of-the-art leisure centre, or a suitable sheltered open water environment.
